At the 2014 NDACC Steering Committee meeting in Brussels (3–5 November) Dr. Anne Thompson, Scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (Maryland, USA) was elected Co-Chair of NDACC for a term from 2014–2017. Since 1998, Thompson has been the Principal Investigator of the SHADOZ (Southern Hemisphere Additional Ozonesondes) network that affiliated with NDACC in 2009. Thompson replaces Dr. Stuart McDermid of NASA’s JPL, who retired last year. Thompson joins NDACC Co-Chair Martine De Mazière of the Belgian Institute for Research in Aeronomie, who was elected in 2013 and who hosted the NDACC Steering Committee meeting this year.
