Multiple species UV/Visible Spectrometer () at Syowa Base, Antarctica
Y. Kondo (Tokyo U.) and W. A. Matthews (NIWA) – NIWA system for NO2 and ozone operated from 1990–1995.
Y. Kondo (Tokyo U.) and W. A. Matthews (NIWA) – NIWA system for NO2 and ozone operated from 1990–1995.
U. Friess, and U. Platt (U. Heidelberg) — Dual-channel DOAS spectrograph installed in January 1999 for measuring ozone, NO2, OClO, and BrO.
A. Pazmino, F. Goutail (LATMOS-IPSL) — SAOZ system for NO2 and ozone operating since January 1988; upgraded with a new detector in 1994.
S. Colwell (BAS) — SAOZ system operated at Faraday (UK Antarctic Station: 65.25°S, 64.27°W) from January 1990 until the station closed in December 1995. System operating at this location since January 1996. Early data archived under previous PI Roscoe.
H. Roscoe (BAS) — SAOZ system for NO2 and ozone operated at this location from January 1990 until the station closed in December 1995. System operating at Rothera, Antarctica (67.57°S, 68.13°W) since January 1996.
M. Yela, O. Puentedura, and M. Navarro (INTA) — Zenith measurements of column NO2, since 1994 with a grating scanning monochromator. Since 2015, two MAXDOAS systems have been operating (one for NO2 and ozone) and the other for BrO and OClO. The scanning system will continue to take measurements until 2020 in order to overlap with those by the MAXDOAS systems. In 2015 joined NDACC. Data from 1994 to 2016 not yet archived.

R. Querel (NIWA) — Zenith measurements of column NO2 since September 1995 with a grating scanning monochromator. Original spectrometer previously operated on Campbell Island. Spectrometer replaced in 2002 with a similar unit. The instrument failed in July 2022, and was decommissioned. Early data archived under previous PIs (Wood) for 1996–2003 and (Johnston) for 2006–2012. Data through 2022 is archived under final PI Querel.
A. Pazmino, F. Goutail (LATMOS-IPSL) and F. Orte (CEILAP) — SAOZ system for NO2 and ozone operating since March 2008.
